Award for Rameshwari Thorat Research Meet and Science Exhibition

Rameshwari Thorat (in black dress) our student doing SY BSC in Statistics got first prize in Research Meet and Science Exhibition and their topic was Survey On Library-A source of knowledge.

Below is the brief of the project in her own words - 

The name of my event was 

RESEARCH MEET AND SCIENCE EXHIBITION 2015.The name of our topic was Survey on Library. There were two groups of Statistics department participated in Research Meet. In each group there were 3 people. The objectives were, to study reading habits of students and staff. To find perspective of students towards visiting the library. To survey the various facilities provided by the library. To study challenges faced by library staff and students. Our Statistics teachers helped us so much. We collected data, analyzed it and made power point presentation within a week. Only 8 minutes were given to each group for presentation. All the departments had participated in this event and at least one winner was there from each department. Research meet was organized by our Mithibai College on 15th January 2015.

This has brought to our attention by Mr. & Mrs. Malshe who are her KP's staying at Kandivali and are ably guiding Rameshwari in her career path successfully. VSM family congratulates both!
